Personally, I love A8 China. It's been my go-to fast food place since a few years back when I started attending college here. They've always had less than $6 lunch meals, but they have deteriorated in size. (I don't mind. I could stand to eat less haha)It has the best General Tso's Chicken hands down: sweet and tangy. Asian Kitchen's is usually tough and dry. The crab rangoon here is slightly sweet and damn tasty.Another thing definitely worth noting: I've eaten there on several occasions and Chinese students frequent it as a popular hangout. It makes sense to me because they actually make some delicious Chinese (non-gwailo) food.I don't know what all these 1 star reviews are about. No offense, but I'm assuming most of these people have never had real Chinese food (basically not that deep fried, sauce slathered, stuff everyone associates with) since half of my mom is a 1st generation immigrant from Hong Kong. I feel A8 is a more tasty representation than other fast food Chinese I've had in Madison.

Note: New owners as of 5/11The tuna was by far the best quality I've experienced in any Madison area sushi bar. The Mushroom soup was excellent, with just a hint of miso. The chopped mushrooms and green onions were a pleasant change of pace from the typical seaweed and tofu miso soups most local sushi spots seem to rely on.

Had lunch at A Sakura this week and it was AWESOME! Not only was the sushi incredible, but the service and price was great too! Thanks so much for the orange treat, rolls-to-go, and great company Dylan! I think you have a good thing going with this restaurant and your chef is great! I will be sure to stop in when I am in town! It was great that there were so many non-raw fish rolls to pick from because I am pregnant. I can't wait to come back and try some of my favorite raw fish rolls after I have the baby! We really need a good sushi bar out here; I have to drive an hour to get sushi, but your restaurant is well worth it! Thanks again!

As a student whose boyfriend works for Sushi Muramoto, I would say with confidence that A8Sakura is not only better sushi for the price but just plain better. The service is fantastic, the hours are wonderful, there is never any wait, and staff are always friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate you -- refills, oranges, one time when I was there the chef even brought us a new appetizer to try for no charge. My boyfriend and I eat here at 2-3 times per week. Would recommend to anyone -- an excellent restaurant.

If you like Caribou Coffee and Japanese food, this is the place for you. Sakura is in an old Caribou coffee strip mall. It's redesigned (not big but cozy) inside and looks really nice. Food is good for the reasonable price and staff very friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends!

We went there for dinner and Friday and thought the rolls were very good and the prices were just as good. I would recommend to others.

Please switch your on-line ordering to www.campusfood.com... your current on-line order provider is horrible and doesn't even allow you to pay with a credit card.

Buyer Beware1. The 'Crab' listed is of the rolled fish 'Krab' variety - they don't tell you that, so beware!2. The online menu does not list all of the options on the paper menu at the location.
